In collaboration with NTID/RIT, CSD Learns is hosting a special webinar intended to increase Deaf and Hard of Hearing students' interest in STEM professions. Featuring a panel of deaf and hard of hearing STEM professionals working in exciting careers, the theme of this webinar will be “impact on the environment.”
Supported by a moderator, panelists will take turns sharing stories about their everyday work with an emphasis on Earth Day.
Students will receive insights into how their skills and knowledge were acquired and how they developed a passion for STEM. We will also ask our panelists questions about STEM concepts, soft skills, and literacy — the critical building blocks for a STEM career.
